Description

Embark on a journey through art, history, and architecture with our exclusive tour that combines the world-renowned Uffizi Gallery and the iconic Vasari Corridor. Designed for those who want to delve deep into Florence’s Renaissance heritage, this tour offers a seamless blend of culture and exclusivity. Skip the lines at the Uffizi Gallery and step into a world of artistic genius, exploring masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo da Vinci, among many others. Guided by an expert, immerse yourself in the evolution of Italian art, tracing its transformation from medieval to Renaissance brilliance.

After your enlightening tour of the Uffizi, seamlessly transition into the Vasari Corridor, an architectural marvel crafted in 1564 by Giorgio Vasari for the powerful Medici family. This elevated walkway, closed to the public since 2016 and reopening in 2025 after meticulous restoration, offers a unique perspective of Florence. Spanning the Arno River and crossing the historic Ponte Vecchio, the corridor connects the grand Palazzo Pitti to the political heart of the city, Palazzo Vecchio. While the walk through the corridor is accompanied rather than guided, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Florence’s landmarks and gain a deeper appreciation of its architectural ingenuity and historical significance.

Towns of Italy proudly became the first tour operator to provide regular access to the Vasari Corridor in 2007, opening this hidden treasure to the world. With its much-anticipated reopening, you now have the rare opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the Medici, reliving a chapter of Florence’s storied past. This experience combines exclusive views, fascinating stories of power and art, and the chance to reconnect with a historical gem that has been inaccessible for years.
